I got the idea to paint something every day for 30 days from an artist friend. It has helped me to realize the positive aspects of my everyday life. I started on February 1, 2014 and finished March 5th; I am pleased to have done this!
Daily Gratitude Painting #1 I am grateful for my art supplies and tools; watercolor paints, brushes, palette, easel and camera.
Daily Gratitude Painting #2 I am grateful for our reliable New Mexico sunshine. It warms my home and cheers me up.
Daily Gratitude Painting #3 I am grateful for blueberries and other berries, full of healthful antioxidants.
Daily Gratitude Painting #4 I am grateful for the stormy sky at sunset that may (or may not) bring much-needed snow to our land.
Daily Gratitude Painting #5 I am grateful for simple root vegetables. I used these to make borscht.
Daily Gratitude Painting #6 I am grateful for citrus and lemons especially, which add zing to everything!
Daily Gratitude Painting #7 I am grateful for my bed where I can rest and rejuvenate myself for the next day.
Daily Gratitude Painting #8 I am grateful for our wood-burning stove. It warms our home on these chilly winter days. Thank-you, Mom and Dad!
Daily Gratitude Painting #9 I am grateful for the Olympics, especially the ice skating. Here is a Russian contender, Yulia Lipinskya, as she gets ready to skate.
